The s c mi-fin ale have been reached in the men’s championship singles, -whilst the semi-finals have been r eached j n the men’s championship doubles, the semifinalists being M. J. O’Malley (Christchurch) and W. P. McCarthy (Greymo nth); 0. P. Sc ha-dick and J. Comerford (Westport) ; H. Dymond and N. G. Munns (Christchurch) and w. ami l'. Warnes (United, GreymOut-h). The semi-final', js in the ladies’ singles we r -e published yesterday, and in striding contrast with t.h e men’s events they are all West Coast players. Tin semi-finalists in the ladie«’ championship doubles are much- the same players as in the ladies’ championship singles, namely, Misses M. Costello (Grey) and 0. Stapleton (Hokitika); M.
