CAUGHT IN BELTING.

WHANGAREI, January 25
An infant, Islay McQueen, aged nine months, daughter of Mr and Mrs N. McQueen, of Otaika Road, Whangarei, received severe burns on the arms and face yesterday morning as a result of crawling to a hot oven door. Her mother had left the stove only for a moment. The infant was admitted to hospital. HAMILTON, January i|>. Severe head injuries were received to-day by a schoolK/, John Henry, aged 10 years, of Patetonga, who was spending a holiday with his uncle, Mr Thomas Henry, on Mr T. Riddell’s farm at Gordonton. The boy was caught in the belting of a milking machine and js.tm.ck. hit. head on a rafter. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital and hi s condition i s reported to be satisfactory.
