Colonel Hrinsmcad is to he retired on superannuation from the post of Controller of Civil Aviation. His health, which has not fully recoveiod from the accident, in the j lane smash in Siam, in December, 1931, does not permit of his resumption of duty. It is understood that Hr Johnson, the present deputy-controller, will be promoted. •
