OKARITO DREDGE. DUNEDIN, January 17. The report of the Okarito Gold Dredging Company for the four weeks from December 3 to December 31 last states that the total gold won was IGOozs 4dwts. The total time worked was 334 hours, and the total nonworking time was 50 hours. The dredge closed down for the holidays on December 22. The total yardage treated was 22,000, -an average of 66) cubic yards per hour. Ihe av-ei age value of the ground (on the basis of gold being worth £4 an ounce) was 7d per cubic yard.
