'' At Geneva m to-day the Economic Section of the Preparatory Committee of the World Economic' Conference arrived at c/ decision concerning industrial agreements. It is suggested that for certain categories of agreements, cartels, etc., Governments should not intervene, but that in the ease of others, such as coal, wood, wheat and transport Governments’ help was necessary in order to reach •a solution. '' t’The committee resolved to recommend "the abolition of a n J T subsidies being granted by Governments to shipping 'companies.
