This enabled a westerly depression to advance .from the Tasman Sea and to deepen rapidly, bringing unsettled weather to the Ruin in ion. The forecast in • Moderate to strong northerly winds. hacking i.sborlly to souther.lies. Weather unsettled with rain. Temperatures becoming cooler. Seas moderate but rising with southerly. UNION COM PANY’S LINE The Kaimai i s due ,at Greymouth next Friday from Wellington to load coal lor New Plymouth, Napier and Gisborne. The Kiwitea is loading coal at Greymouth for Wellington and Auckland sailing to-day. The Ivaimho j.s due at Greymouth on Thursday to load timber for Melbourne anu Adelaide, and another steamer or the same Company is due at Greymouth about the 25th in.st. to load timber for Sydney and possibly Newcastle. The T.S.S. Monowai is scheduled to leave Wellington on Monday, 6th February for Milford Sound, where she will arrive on the morning of Wednesday of Bth February, to leave the same evening and arrive in Wellington on Friday morning lGth February.
