U.S. BEER BILL
MODIFICATION OF MEASURE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, Janu a r y 13. A modification of the Hoiirse of Representatives ' Beer Bill was agreed upon to-day by a committee of the Senators to propose fo,. a three point nought five per cent brew, instead of f a three point two per cent, alcoholic ■content. It was also agreed to allow wines.
