£1739 STOLEN IN MELBOURNE

.A daring and expert bank robbery was carried out during th r week end at tlie Kew branch of th t > English, Scottish and Australian Hank. I 1 he thieves burned hole* through bvo safe doors. They secured money and jewellery valued at £1,739. Detectives expressed the opinion that the job must hav e occupied .four hours. A whole suite-breaking kit was left behind.
