NEW TOURIST WALK. I DUNEDIN, December 28. | Mr L. Murrell, of Manapouri, lias • opened up a nenv track for tourists tins , season, it commences iroin tm: north j arm of Lake Manapouri and cuts across through new country to the Gcai- arm of Bradshaw Sound. The scheme is to initiate a round, trip from Manapouri to Gear arm, up the latter by launch, and through Bradshaw and ' Smith Sounds to Deep Cove, at th° head of Doubtful Sound, thence over to the west arm of Manapouri by the well-known track. It is a round trip, occupying a week, and allowing for two days at the sounds. Fifty miles will i><= covered by launch, all in sheltered waters. The track is reported to he a good one, and provides a new trip for these who frequent the Sounds district. wramiuui. i ww rmmma
