COMPLICATIONS IN FRANCE. (Uuited Press 2 ssociation—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) ' PARIS, December 29. The quota system lias been working in a strange fashion during recent weeks. No British ni'.ide suits are now allowed to enter Franco, and, consequently well-to-do! Parisians, and Englishmen and Americans living in Paris, who always buy their clothes' from English tailors, are uable to replenish 1 their wardrobes. Apparently the only method is to visit London and return wearing the suits.
French and British chambers of commerce have taken up the matter but French customs authorities are obdurate. ... . ’
