DUNENIN, December 22.' The Okarito return for the 3}- days ended to-day totalled 48oz Bdwt.

The Alexander Mines cleaned up for December, to-day Four hundred and eleven tons of ore were crushed for a yield of 2980zs 13dwt of melted gold. By the cyanide process 278 tons of sand were treated for a return of 97 ozs 14dwt of, bullion. The estimate value of the gold won is £looo, exclusive of the premium on tho sale of gold abroad and the- premium on exchange.
