U. S. BEER BILL
TO BE VOTED ON IN SENATE

WASHINGTON, December 22
The House adjourned to-day, without acting on the conference report on the Philippine Bill. Senator Borah said, in a formal statement to-day, that the House Beer Bill was a nullification of the Constitution because 3.2 beer was intoxicating. Chairman Norris, of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said he believed the Beer Bill came within the Constitution, and called on the Committee to can..-ider it on Monday. Indications late to-day, however, were that a vote will he forced in the Senate on the Bill to-morrow.
