To be held on the Hokitika Racecourse

1. —-DISTRICT HANDICAP (in harness) of 50 sovs. Second horse to receive 10 sovs. and the 3rd horse 5 sovs. from the stake. For liorse s which have been in one of the counties of Duller, Inangghua, Grey or Westland, or any West Coast Borough, for at least three months immediately prior to the race and owned or leased by residents of the said Counties of Boroughs. Horses will be handicapped to do 3.7 or better. Nomination 20s; acceptance 20s. 11 miles. 2. GOLDFIELDS HANDICAP (in harness) of 55 sovs. Second horse to receive 11 sovs, and the 3rd horse 5 sovs. from the stake. Tor unhoppled trotters only. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 3.51 or better. Nomination 20s; acceptance 255. Ij miles. 3. —KANIERI HANDICAP (in harness) of 60 sovs. Second horse to receive 12 sovs. and the 3rd horse 6 sovs from the stake. Horses in this event will be handicapped to do 2.28 or better. WESTLAND TROTTING CLUB’S HANDICAP (in harness) of 100 sovs. and a trophy to be presented by the Hokitika Licensed Vic-, tuallers, second horse to receive 20 sovs. and the 3rd lnrse 10 s ov s from the stake. Horses will be handicapped to do 4.50 or better. Nomination 30s; acceptance 40s. 2 miles. 5. STAFFORD HANDICAP (in harness) of 60 sovs. Second horse to receive 12 sovs. and the 3rd horse 6 sovs froin the stake.
