XMAS HOLIDAYS,

The hours of attendance at Hokitika Post and Telegraph Office will be a.> follow:

-Monday 26th. and Tuesday 27th. December, 1982.—Post Office, closed; Telegraph Office, closed; Exchange, open contjnuously.

On the evening of the 24th, December, a delivery of ’letters (registered as well as ordinary) will be made over the counter -Itetween the hours of 7

Monday 26th. December.—Mails will not be despatched or received on this day.

Tuesday 27th. December.—The following mails will close at 7.45 a.m.— Ho Ho-Humphreyis and Lower Kok-atahi-Koiterangi rural deliveries, Kanieri, Woodstock, Rinra, Stafford,- Gol-cks-borugh, Kumara, Tainui, Ruatapu, Ross. Greymouth, Christchurch, South ami North Islands.

The street posting boxes will be cleared at 6.30 a.m. Monday 2nd. January, 1933.—P05* Office, closed; Telegraph Office, closed; Exchange, open continuously. On Saturday evening, 31<st. December, a delivery of letters (registered as well as ordinary) will be made over the counter between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The following mails will close at 7 a.m. on 2nd. January.—Ho HoHumphreys, Kokatahi-Kc/iterangi rural deliveries, Kanieri, AVordstoek, R.imu, 'Stafford. ’Gcldsborough, Kumaia, Tai nui, Ruatapu, Ross, Greymouth, Chri-fchurch. North and South Islands. The street posting boxes will be cleared at 6.30 a.m.
