THEFT CHARGES
OLD CHARGE REVIVED,

WELLINGTON, December 20
The long arm of the law encompassed James Anthony Coulthard, 32, a waterside r, when arrested last week on a charge of stealing a gold waceh. It was found he had keen wanted since 1921 on a charge of failino- to account for £2O 13s to the Secretary of the Millerton Miners Union. All trace of him was lost when lie left the, district shortly after the. offence was committed. The police said 1 lie had told the secretary that the money was stolen from him. This was not true and when inquiries were made, he cleared out.
Accused war, fined £5 for stealing the watch, and convicted, and ordered to come up if called on within two years, on the old offence.
