CHICAGO, December 20.
Frank Nitti wag dulled when Hu* police raided the gang headquarters in a city office building. Be\en gangsters present, lined m> to the wall meekly enough until the officers noticed Nitti slip a small p.,per into his mouth and chew \ iolont’y. A polioon mi leaped to snatch the paper. Nitti then drew a revolver. Ten shots v we exchanged before Nitti fell dead. The mysterious paper contained a list in code of suspected names of persons marked clown for death, in beer wars.
