Prisoners were sentenced by the, Chief Justice this morning as follow: Eva Hoare, aged 43, forgery and uttering, four charges, one year’s reformative-; William Lindsay Atkinson, indecent assault on a imvle at Palmerston North, three years’ reformative; Leslie Cecil McCarthy, delivering a forged telegram, and two charges of forging and uttering, 18 months’ reformative, eonem-reiit on each charge and concurrent- with sentence serving.
