POLAR EXPLORATION

MEMORIAL TRUST FUND. LONDON, December 4. The associates of the late Mr H. G. Watkins, leader of the British Arctic expedition, who was drowned 1 out'of a kayak (canoe) in Lake Fjord, Greenland, in August-, have inaugurated a memorial trust fund to assist young explorers. The proceeds will be given yearly to those best able to perform Tolar exploration. A .sum of £3OO is already subscribed by Mr Watkins’ comrades in the recent expedition.
