She is expected back to-morrow and loads jr Mapua sailing on Monday. There is quite a move in tho timber develoment trade of the district of late. Apart from four new mills starting up. a box making factory is to bo established on Gibson Quay in the near future and boxes will be made lor export. In South Westland two additional timber ventures on a large «calc are on the tapis. One enterprise will be centred at Okarito where the improvement of the harboq,r will be part of the scheme. The second project is at Bruce Bay where a.'loading scheme will reouire to be devised, and large bottoms will load freight for a direct oversea trade. It is expected these two enterprises will be put in hand in the now vapidly approaching new year.
