HOUSE IN FLAMES
FAMILY LEAVES BY A WINDOW. OPOTIKI, December 11. Fire which broke out at one o'clock this morning completely destroyed a six-roomed farm home at Waiocka, Opotiki, occupied by Air G. Hooper and family. AT,- Hooper was awakened by the noise of the firo, and opened hi lS bod room door, to be confronted by flames. The family had to escape through a window in their night attire. Nothing was saved.
