REY. MR HEWITON

DUNEDIN, December 8

The death occurred suddenly cf Rev. Professor Hewitson at the age of 72 years. He had charge of Knox Church, Dunedin, from 1895 to 1908, when he was appointed first master and Professor of Practical Trainery in Knox College, the official training institution of the Presbyterian Church in the Dominion.

■He was elected Moderator of the Presbyterian General Assembly in 1928. He leaves a widow.
