Killing operations, commenced this monning at Smithft.ld and Pareora with free labour. No union labour offered when calls wera 1 miade at each works. Ten men are on the killing board.
Isolated cases of picketing occurred, lmt til*.* police were /present in force and there was no trouble of any kind.
