PIGEON FLYING
SUPREME FLYING CLUB
The Supreme Flying Club held its first rr.ee yesterday for the Club’s medal from Springfield, a distance of 60 miles. The weather was overcast and the mountains were covered by .clouds. The pigeons were liberated bv the station master and only two lofts timed-in that day. Lucky bird Loft gained first and second wliiie Imperial Loft was third. Times 2hrs, 2hrs and 2hrs oSinins. Results.—J. Andrews’ “Little Hope,” 1; J. Andrews’ “Flitwing,” 2; G. Kerr’s “Flyaway Jack,” 3; Points for mdal—J. Andrews 8, G. Kerr 1.
