DAMAGES AWARDED

Damages aggregating £366 11/6, less personnel, and urged the Government sation Act, were awarded in the Supreme Court to-day, by the Chief Justice (Sir M. Myers) in his reserved judgment in the case of Reuben Oscar Knight, 15, against Reuben Henry Knight. ' of Te Horo, farmer, arising out of an accident in which /the boy was injured through a horse , bolting. Hi s Honour said that in his opinion, there was ample evidence to establish .that, however satisfactory and harmless the horse might be as a plough horse, it had a habit, of which defendant was aware, which made it dangerous and unfit for use in harness.
