CHRISTCHURCH JEWELLER. (Per Press Assrci&tion — Copyright.) CHRISTCHURCH, November 29. Walter John Watson, a well known city jeweller and optician, was found dead on Cashmere Hills this afternoon. There were gunshot wounds in the head, and a shot gun was lying beside the body. ... At the inquest to-day, it was stated that Watson had been in ill health and depressed for the past year, and had been for four weeks in hospital at Manmer for a recuperative rest. He had left the hospital to receive dental treatment, and he was to have returned to Hanmer to-day. The inquest was adjourned.
