WARSAW, November 25,

Poland is seeking a teetotal hangman. The last holder of the office was dismissed for drunkenness on duty.

Arthur Braun, who was then appointed, with his two assistants adjourned to a public-house to celebrate his good fortune. The three were very shortly very drunk and beat the occupants of the bar with brandy bottles.

Uraun was immediately dismissed and the Minister of Justice is now pondering on the qualifications of 120 applicants for the lianginanship.
