FRANCE AND RUSSIA
AN AGREEMENT
OF NON-AGGRE^SION

PARIS, November 26. Between France and Russia a pact of non-aggression has been signed. The pact provides, first, that the r e shall b e between the countries no recourse to 1 war. It provides fq r the inviolability of their territories, including the French 'colonies protectorates. 'Secondly, the pact provides for neutrality in the event of any third party’s over-aggression. Thirdly, there is to, be ii restriction of boycotting. It also prohibits the Soviet’s news propaganda in France. Russia is further 'undertaking neither to promote nor to favour any antiFrench propaganda or agitation. The Pact also prohibits the .Soviet from aiding revolutionary bodies operating from Russia or elsewhere ae against Indo-China, Syria, or North Africa.
The pact is one complementary ot the Russo-German pact of 1926, and it guaranteed Russian neutrality in the event of any aggression against France or Germany, The French comment deprecates any exaggeration of the effects of the pact.
