The worlds ,'champion brdaidkider, Eric Langton, aged 25, of England, received slight concussion when the front tyre of his machine burst dur? ing an exhibition ride at the opening , of the Western Springs Speedway Ijgt-, evening. ; arias Langton was admitted to the Auckland - Hospital and. hie condition todia.y is not serious. The crash occurred prior to the commencement of racing, when four Englishmen, Langston, “Tiger” Steven-. son, Eric Gregory and W. Phillips, were engaged in an exhibition, ride. Langston and his machine turned over several times, the rider being injured when his mount struck him. JUDGMENT FOR £IOOO.
