WELLINGTON, November 15. In reply to an inquiry the Minister of Transport snick that as the work of licensing passenger services had been initiated, attention was now being given ,to the position in respect to gdod services. Draft regulations had.been prepared but the issue of an Order-in-Council to bring them into force was deferred, for the\ special purpose of allowing the suggested regulations to ; receive the full consideration of all! concerned. No Order-in-Council would be issued till the Minister and Government were satisfied as to the effect) on the interests of those, concerned and the public.
