The annual communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand took place .in Auckland to-day. There was a large attendance’of representavtiyeg f.J;pm every part’’of! th'e'Dominion. jT^e t Lord Bledisloe, ~was i;p-i;k>cted anci installed as Master, big proposer, Mr M. Tlioihj>son, Past Lirand.. faster, paying a warm tribute to the rendered to I reemasonry and to,;'Nq>v'' Zealand, by four representatives cf the King, Lord Plunket, Lord Jellicoe, -Sir -Charles Fergus s on, and Lord Bledisloe.
Lord Bledisloe having acknowledged the honour of his re-election to the highest Masonic office, Mr S. S. Allen, of Matamata, was .appointed ProGrand Master. A long list of further elective officers submitted by the Board of General Purposes was approved. MiV’A- Burns, junr., waa. appointed . Grand Registrar. The next annual communication will be held in Dunedin. ; The imstnllatioit of Lord Bledisloe took place in tho Town Hall to-riight, before an attendance of 2,5f>0, tho ceremony-being an impressive oho.
