LONDON, November 22. “The Times’ ” Dublin correspondent says: “The latest development* is unrest among railway workers, who are urging the Fianna Fail Party to implement election promises for the reform of transport to safeguard wages, and the Labour members of the Dail Eireann are sharply criticised for a failure to insist upon this legislation as necessary. “The railways are now facing bankruptcy, as their receipts fell £560,000 in 1932, compared with last year. Under Mr do Valera’s economic policy, the railways are losing £14,000 weekly, and are forced to pay £52,000 more for coal yearly owing to the duties. Labour is disappointed at de Valera’s refusal to nationalise the railways.
