GISBORNE, November 24. Work proceeded quietly on the waterfront this morning, wool and butter being loaded into the Port Dunedin by union labour. It is understood that meat from the freezing works will be handled this afternoon, a number of farmers having arrived in town ready to load their produce.

MEETING
WELLINGTON, November 24. A gtop-work meeting of Wellington wateiviiders to discuss the freezing workers’ dispute as affecting the Welington watersiders, lasted for eight to twelve 'thirty to-day, and was not open to the Press, Mr Cox, president of the Union, afterwards said nothing regarding the result, which will not be released for publication until after the. meeting of the executive this afternoon.
