CHRISTCHURCH, November 22. Charjes Edwards, a cheese-maker, aged 30 years, of Aldred Street, was charged in the Magistrate’s o°urt this morning with failing to account for moneys. He was remanded to appear on November 29. The charge was that between November 1 and November 19 he received 9s 6d on terms requiring him to account for it to the Christchurch Fro e Ambulance Committee, and fraudulently omitting to do so. Chief Detective Carroll said that inquiries were not completed, and the . oolice did not quite know the P°si' tion.

Bail was allowed In £IOO and one surety of £IOO.
