One of the 1 heaviest losers was Mr J. Combe. He discovered oh Saturday that nearly the whole of the furniture from his cottage' had bben ' removed by the thieves. A bed was removed from Mr. Ritchie’s cottage, which _ had been stiripped of practically everything portable, the owner estimating his loss 'at about £4O.
