The late Mr John Redman, sfyeep farmer, Rock Road,. Konini, has'bequeathed his residential property adjoining the borough, valued at £IOOO, to the Pahiatua Plunket Society. Deceased was always a liberal supporter of the Society.

At the inquest on the death of Nicholas Tillson March, aged 84 years, found dead in a stream at Tawa Flat, a verdict was returned that death was due to suffocation through his falling into a shallow creek during a fainting fit,
