In the doubles semi-finals at the Nlsw South Wales tennis championships Vines and Gledhill (U.S.A.) beat Donohce and Dunlop (N.S.W.) 6— 3, 6—2, 6—4; Allison* and Van Byn (U.S.A.) beat i Crawford and Sproule (N.S.W.) 6-4, 6—3, 6—l. Crawford, owing to his back injury, is not participating in the tennis test at Brisbane against the Americans.
