SCHOOLING IN ENGLAND. LONDON, November 4. Sh© is the wife of the Archduke Anton of Hapsburg and the mother of a new son now, but not long ago Princess Ileana, the sister of King Carol of Rumania, was jugf. an English schoolgirl. That was when she was a student at Heathfield School, near Ascot, Her mother, Queen Marie of Rumania, insisted that she should .have part of her education in .England. It was then ‘that she acquired many of her English tastes and ways that are characteristic of 'her now. The Princess has the striking English beauty of her mother, who wa§ a daughter of the Duke of Edinburgh. On her honeymoon princess Ileana came to-England where she and her husband were the guests of Commander Locker-Lampson, M.P. One thing that few people know is that the Rumanian Princess (now n mother at 23) is probably the only woman of .royalty t 0 have passed examinations in seamanship. She studied nautical problems because, like King George, she is very fond of the sea.
