Greater confidence is apparent in the market, the pig iron department becoming mere healthy, and in this, a on the unfinished steel and finished steel branches, an improvement in demand is notioeable. The figures for British cotton goods exports, ten lionths show Lancashire’s,, staple trade! is also improving. The exports of cot ton goods in the past ten months increased over a hundred million square yards on the corresponding period of last year.
