OBITUARY
COLONEL PHILIP TREVOR.
LONDON, November 14. The death has occurred of Colonel Philip Trevor.
(Colonel Philip (Christian William) Trevor, who was 69 years of .age, was well known as a cricket and Rugby football correspondent to the “Daily Telegraph.” He was educated at Marlborough College, and the Royal Military Collegp, Sandhurst. He served in the Burma Field Force. 1888-90, and was bn active service in the Boer War. During the European War he wa s Assistant Di"factor cl Ordnance Services, London district. His publications include “The Lighter Side of Cricket,” “Tjhe Problems of 'Cricket.” “With the M.C.C. in Australia.” “Rugby Union Football.” He also wrote a. novel, “The Prince of the People,” numerous serial stories, and two plays for children “Under the Greenwood Tree” and “The Looking Glass.”)

LOS ANGELES, November 14
The funeral took place here on Monday of Mr James Lawler, a nephew of Sir Harry Lauder. He was horn in Scotland," and served in the Australian Navy during the World War.
