MR YORK’S WITHDRAWAL

The Mayor of Motueka '(Mr R. J. L. York), who had previously signified his intention of contesting the Motueka by-election, as an Independent, stated that he had. decided to withdraw. Mr York added that he, would definitely be a candidate at the next General Election, when he hoped that those who had promised him their support, would agdin come forward,
