TAX ON TOMATO GROWERS. WELLINGTON November 14. The Government proposes the compulsory registration of tomato-grower? 1 in n measure to ho introduced , this week. The hill will compel compliance from growers with 500 plants and over. The registration fee will he on a pro rata basis. The funds will he devoted to organisation of the industry.
