BALL AT WOODSTOCK

On Wednesday, evening, last there was a large attendance at the anniversary ball held in the Woodstock Hall. Music was provided by the' Black Hand Orchestra and the pro. ceedings passed off very enjoyubly, JUVENILE BALL. On Thursday evening a fanoy dress juvenile ball was held in the -Hall when there was a crowded attendance and all present had a happy time. There were a large number of fancy costume,? and the awards were as follows, the judges being Mesdames R, Lynn and B. Dowell: Best dressed girl, over 7 years;— Olga Wells (girl clown) 1; Alma Stoop (sun) 2. Best dressed boy, over 7 years: Eddie Stoop (Santa Glaus) 1; Billy Muir (mad musician) 2. Most original, girl over 7 years:—> Bridie Nolan (nurse) 1; Betty Agnew (sun flower) 2. Best dressed girl, under 7 years:— Zella Willoughby (pink bride) 1; Myrna Carson (Christmas tree) 2. Best dossed boy, under 7 years* Danny Ryan (gold digger) and lan Nancekivell (Napoleon) (equal) 1. Most original, girl under 7 years:— Norma Willoughby (my garden) 1; Noline Rhodes (golden jubilee) 2. Most orignal, boy under 7 years:— Jackie Carson (Irish sweep) 1.
