HOKITIKA RESULTS YESTERDAY
Mr A. iQuaife, musical examiner of tb 3 . isociatsd Board of Music, conducted the annual practical examination in Hokitika yesterday. The following is the list of successful pupils ;— — Convent,—Carmel Knowles (violin), lower division, passed ; Joyce Andrews ■piano), higher division, passed; V. Nightingale (piano), advanced, passed. Miss Daly.—Sylvia Sanders (piano), higher division, passed; J. E. Mclntosh (piano), advanced, passed. Mias C. J. Wylie.—J,. Y. Selby (piano), elementary division, honours. Mr George Heppell.—E. E. Huxford, (piano), primary division, (honours. Migs M. J. Davies.—A. Weiblitz, preliminary passed; A. Davies, preliminary division, passed ; E. Armstrong, elementary division, passed ; J. Armstrong, e’ementary division, honours; Enid Wishart, elementary division, passed ; T. Sweney, elementary division, passed; L. M. Staines, a vanced division, honours.
All pupils of Miss Davies 'were in the piano division.
