NEW RAILWAY BRIDGE.

The new Opihi railway bridge was used for the first time this afternoon. Workmen have beep engaged for somei time making ready for the change-over and the job of transferring bodily the lines and sleepers took •about three hours. The transfer was accomplished between the times of the running of the south express ovPr the old structure and the north, train over the new.
