Counsel for the accused said 'accused well knew that h© could not dispose' of the stolen notes, the numbers of which were known.

Mr Justice Smith said that there mi gut have been some mysterious working of accused’s mind, which induced him to commit this strange crime. It was obvious that he would he detected.
