S.S. ZEALANDIA
SAILS WITH DISABLED ENGINE. (per Press Association — Copyright.) AUCKLAND, Nbvfemfcer 11. ■Only one engine is being used by the Huddart Parker steamer, Zealandia, which sailed for Sydney this afternoon with passengers, mail and cargo. In consequence the vessel’s speed will be slower than usual, land she is not expected!, to- Teach Sydney before Wednesday, instead of Tuesday. A crack was discovered in the port engine earlier in, the day, and it was impossible to repair the defect before sailing time. Th! e > Zealandia is fitted with twin screws, so that it was decided to despatch her to Sydney under one engine, .and avoid a prolonged delay at Auckland. The repairs will be done at Sydney before the Zealandia sails for Wellington next Friday.
