In consequence the vessel’s speed will be slower than usual, land she is not expected!, to- Teach Sydney before Wednesday, instead of Tuesday. A crack was discovered in the port engine earlier in, the day, and it was impossible to repair the defect before sailing time. Th! e > Zealandia is fitted with twin screws, so that it was decided to despatch her to Sydney under one engine, .and avoid a prolonged delay at Auckland. The repairs will be done at Sydney before the Zealandia sails for Wellington next Friday.
