The Wanganui County, however, if challenging the legality of boat roL Av<hen a complete revaluation of a county has been made, and later in the year and Assessment Court approves o. a new roll and makes it retrospective to April 1 for rating purpssdfi. It i,s contended Vy the County that if the new roll is the legal medium on which to .strike the rates, and all the rating machinery of a local body must remain inactive until that roll actually pa-ses the Assessment Court, R should ( be regarded a R a legal and fair basis I for the Valuer-General to work upon to j determine for hospital boards an ‘•approximately correct” valuation of eao'i contributing body as at each April Ist. , _ ,r. . *.- His Honour reseived liis- decision.
