Mandates Commission thanked Mr Cameron for his satisfactory report upon Nauru which stated that the administration /was. regarding seriously the ■ fourteen ’ deaths from tuberculosis, add is/ taking steps to combat the spread of the disease. The report emphasised the value of health measures, there being a decrease'in infantile paralysis. The indigenous population had increased by fifty per cent in 1931-32. -.
There were 427 Chinese convictions during he year, mostly trivial, breaches of liajl.o labour and health ordinances;
