A censure motion against the Stevens Government is being launched today by Mr J. S. Lang, Leader of the Oppsition in the Assembly, condemning the Government for being associated with the payment of £2OOO to Redmond Barry who undertook to procure secret testimony in regard to the tin bare dealings, whereby former Ministers of the Crown were defamed, and party advantage obtained. The motions claims that such payment amounted to bribery.
