FATALITY ON FISHING TRIP

WHANGAREI, November 7, A fishing excursion to the Hen and Chickens yesterday ended in tragedy following a. dramatic race against time to save the life of one of the party. Very rough, weather was experienced on the outward journey, and James Foley, aged sixty-two, became so ill that it was decided to return to Whnrig.arei. After four hours’ speeding the launch reached the wharf just as the man expired. Foley was a married man with a family of five children. He recently came front Auckland.
